SHIPPING: FOB Factory. Standard shipments are sent via freight common carrier. Our goal is to ship as quickly as we can in most cases, 1 to 2 weeks for products in stock.
DAMAGES: Please notify our customer service department upon receipt of shipment containing damaged merchandise. Our customer service department will handle claims for loss or damage sustained during shipping.
RETURNS: All merchandise is inspected and carefully packaged before leaving our factory. All returns must have a return authorization (RGA) number provided by Cherry Tree Design. Returns are subject to a restocking fee of up to 25% + all shipping charges. All returns must be done within 30 days of the invoice ship date. Custom orders are not returnable. 1 YEAR WARRANTY: Cherry Tree Design Shoji and Door products are designed and handcrafted to become enduring family heirlooms. Should the products fail during the first year of ownership of the registered, original owner, due to defects in workmanship or material (excluding normal wear, misuse, transit, accidents or exposure to extreme heat, cold, or humidity), we will either repair or replace it at our discretion. If the exact item is not available, an equivalent part or product will be provided.
All mechanical devices used in conjunction with our shoji, such as tracking and mounting hardware, are guaranteed for a period of one (1) year, based on normal use by the original owner and compliance with installation requirements.
We cannot warrant grain, color, texture or any other variations, which are characteristic of natural materials, such as wood, glass, paper and other facing materials.
WARRANTY REGISTRATION: As of January 1, 2003, all Cherry Tree Design shoji and door products will come with a warranty registration form. It is the responsibility of the products original owner to complete the registration form and return it to Cherry Tree Design.
