Exquisite Tatami Room for sale. 12' x 12' - Designed to go against one wall in a large studio display or comfort area, or in an outdoor covered patio. It includes all tatami mats and nine shoji screen sliding doors, handcrafted by Cherry Tree Design.
There is no elevated platform now, but the room sits comfortably on the floor. All the posts and beams are hand stained a dark mahogany and assembly is simple for any good carpenter. It cost over $12,000 to construct and the selling price is $4000, an incredible bargain. It is a handsome and aesthetic piece for display, meditation, or long naps. The owner used it for quiet time, long naps and meditation.
